In this Portsmouth, NH penthouse the interior design was all about striking a balance between creating an elegant city dwelling that still lived like a big comfortable house. A harmonious color palette was used to allow the eye to take in the dramatic city landscape and water views while still enjoying the sumptuous interiors. Updated finishes for flooring, cabinetry, lighting and tile were selected to keep the interiors polished and modern. The furnishings were kept clean line and casual to create a very livable city home.

Lake
The intent of the design of this magnificent lakeside home was to take traditional Adirondack architecture and update it. The architecture features dramatic exposed timber frame details and expansive water views. The challenge was to take these stunning, open concept spaces and make them comfortable to live in on a human scale.Through close work with the architectural designer the interior spaces were customized to showcase the timber frame architecture, maintain water views from every room in the house and still create comfortable, livable spaces. This home features many custom luxury details and finishes yet it lives as a casual, approachable lakeside home.

Village
This in-town home represents the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. The color palette used was rich and warm and the furnishings while beautiful were all inviting and user friendly. The floor plan of this home centers on the heart of the home, a custom working kitchen. Easy living with a statement for design made this home a timeless classic.

Country
This home, located on a pristine New Hampshire golf course, is a beautiful representation of the home owners lifestyle and tastes. A chef and restauranteur by trade the home owner wanted the kitchen to be the driving force of the rest of the home's design. Functional yet elegant this kitchen works as well as it looks. The rest of the house radiates out from the kitchen offering a floor plan designed for entertaining and easy family living. Many of the walls and cabinets in this home were faux finished to create an Old World patina, including a mural in the lower level entertainment room. The bedrooms and bathroom on the second floor transition to a lighter, brighter palette for the two young girls that live there.

Lake 2
Peace, tranquility, and a place for family were the owners objectives of this lake home. This three level home was the perfect solution for when the entire extended family was in residence. The calm, clean, cream and yellow palate carried throughout the home allowed for their vibrant artwork to stand out while still maintaining a soothing, sunny, and relaxing atmosphere.
